The product types that are highlighted in BLUE we recommend for customers that require blades for general utility use to serious woodworking and resaw operations, including metal cutting. Be aware that using Carbon Steel Blades on band saws designed for wood cutting will not provide a desirable service life. We recommended using bi-metal fine tooth blades when using bandsaws of this design to obtain an extended service life. For the the best possible service life from any band saw blade it is necessary to adhere to the proper band speed for the material that is being cut.
