Press Release RIKON 14” Deluxe Bandsaw # 10-325 provides user with 9 additional features. Woburn, MA, August 15, 2006: RIKON Power Tools announces the New RIKON 14” Deluxe Bandsaw Model #: 10-325. The Deluxe Model provides the following features:
Depth of Cut – RIKON’s 13” depth of cut and 13-5/8” throat allows the user to cut thicker material and introduces the 14” Bandsaw to the re-sawing customer without the need for riser blocks. Motor – 1-1/2 HP motor provides ample power for re-sawing. Work Light – To improve cut line visibility RIKON has included a goose neck light. Micro adjustable blade guides - Upper and lower, micro-adjustable, ball-bearing blade guides and thrust bearings. Ball-bearings reduce friction, increase blade life and contribute to smooth operation. New Quick Release Blade Tension - RIKON’s New Quick Release feature is designed to make the tension release easier to use with convenient placement. It is now located on the bottom portion of the upper cabinet to make it simple to operate from the side of the machine, requiring less force. Hinged Blade Guard – This newly designed feature eliminates the hassle of removing or inserting a blade through a ¼” opening and fuss around the bearings. The Hinged Blade Guard provides over 2” of clearance to get around the guard and upper bearings. Blade Guard Sight Window – A sight window was added to the blade guard to allow better visibility of the cut line with the blade and guides. Table Trunnion - Increased strength of the table trunnion. With consumers using their bandsaw to cut larger items, they require much more strength in the table. RIKON has increased the stability of the trunnion using a single bridge trunnion design. Cast Iron Wheels – Balanced heavy-duty cast iron wheels help power the blade through thick material.
